Cal Fire

The California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection, colloquially known as Cal Fire is an emergency response and fire unit in California, and the main base of operation for the firefighters seen in Fire Country. Whilst its main goal is to protect the community from fires and other events, Cal Fire also operates a prison inmate scheme in which inmates can get a shorter sentence in return for helping out with the fire service.

Cal Fire operates the Edgewater Fire Station, which is also known as Station 42.
